Wise Women Temple

So here it is. It’s big, it’s personal, & it so feels freeing.

A New Chapter…

I’ve been sitting with this for a while.

And today, I’m ready to tell you.

After more than three decades of supporting women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, healing, ceremony, massage, doula work, trainings, circles, retreats and all the many threads that have woven through my work…

I am stepping away from doing all the things.

I’m not disappearing.

I’m not leaving women.

And I’m certainly not leaving the wisdom, the experience or the love that has been at the heart of my work for so many years.

But I am leaving behind an archetype of myself that I have inhabited for a very long time.

The doula.

The birth worker.

The woman who holds everything.

The woman who says yes.

The woman who is always creating, teaching, facilitating, organising, travelling, holding space, supporting, nurturing and giving.

She has been an enormous part of my life.

And I honour her deeply.

But I can feel that her work is changing.

There comes a time when we have to stop asking, “What else can I do?”

And start asking…

“What wants to emerge through me now?”

That is where I am.

My light is moving.

Still towards women.

Still towards wisdom.

Still towards remembering who we are.

But into something slower.

Deeper.

More spacious.

More authentic.

I want to create less and feel more.

I want to share what I have learned without feeling like I always have to turn it into another course, another offering, another event, another thing to sell.

I want to write.

I want to speak.

I want to explore.

I want to listen.

I want to sit around the fire with women and talk about the things that actually matter.

And I want to have room in my life to simply be.

Wise Women Temple was born from that feeling.

It isn’t another thing I am adding to my already-full life.

It is actually part of the letting go.

A place where we can slow down.

A place for the conversations that don’t fit neatly into an Instagram caption.

A place where I can share the things I’m really thinking about, feeling, learning and questioning.

And where you can bring your own wisdom too.

So this isn’t goodbye.

It’s not an ending.

It’s a shedding.

A laying down of an old skin.

And I’m curious — and honestly a little excited — to see who I become when I stop trying to be everything I’ve always been.

Thank you for being here.

And thank you for walking with me into whatever comes next.

🤎
