They outline our mutual responsibilities, protect your privacy, and create the foundation for a safe, nurturing, and legally compliant space for women to gather.

• I am responsible for organising and holding a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity beyond travel dates.
• I am responsible for organising my own visa (if required) to enter Indonesia.
• I am responsible for organising and paying for my flights to and from Bali.
• I am responsible for arranging airport transfers (guidance may be provided, but booking is my responsibility unless otherwise specified).
• I am responsible for purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, cancellation, evacuation, and retreat participation.
• I understand the retreat organisers are not responsible for delays, airline disruptions, visa issues, or entry denial.
• I understand that I am travelling internationally at my own risk.
• I understand this is a drug- and alcohol-free retreat.
• I agree to participate responsibly and honour my own physical, emotional, and energetic boundaries.
• I understand that retreat activities (including yoga, meditation, ceremony, sound, waterfall excursions, swimming, breathwork, women’s circles, and cacao ritual) involve physical and emotional processes.
• I understand participation is voluntary, and I may opt out at any time.
• I accept full responsibility for my personal well-being and choices throughout the retreat
 
Bali-Specific Information & Cultural Respect Agreement
Bali is a deeply spiritual island rooted in Hindu tradition and ceremonial life. As a guest in Indonesia, we ask all participants to honour local customs and laws.
I acknowledge and agree that:
• I will respect Balinese customs, religious practices, and ceremonial spaces.
• I will dress modestly when visiting temples or local villages (shoulders and knees covered when required).
• I will follow guidance from facilitators regarding cultural etiquette.
• I understand tap water in Bali is not safe to drink, and I will follow the provided guidance regarding drinking water.
• I will respect environmental practices, including waste reduction and care of the land.
• I understand Indonesia has strict laws regarding drugs and illegal substances.
• I will conduct myself respectfully toward local staff, community members, and fellow participants.

Terms and conditions continued
These Terms & Conditions (the “Agreement”) apply to your participation in the Wise Women Retreat (the “Retreat”), facilitated by Dunja Vairaktaris and Meaghan Amor (“Facilitators”, “we”, “us”). By making payment and attending the Retreat, you (“Participant”, “you”) agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.
The balance of the retreat fee must be paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your place without refund of the deposit.
Payment plans may be offered at our discretion.

Booking & Payment Structure

 

To secure your place on the Wise Women Retreat Bali:

 

• A $500 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of application approval.

• A second $500 payment is due within 14 days of your initial deposit.

 

This means $1,000 will be paid within the first two weeks to confirm and secure your position.

 

The remaining balance may be arranged via a mutually agreed payment plan.

 

• Full payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

• Failure to complete payments by the due date may result in forfeiture of your place and payments made.

 

All prices are in AUD unless otherwise stated

 

Cancellation Policy

 

We understand that life circumstances may change. Please read the following carefully before booking.

 

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

 

Deposit

 

• The initial $500 deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.

 

Cancellations 90 Days or More Before Retreat

 

If you cancel 90 days or more prior to the retreat start date:

 

• You will receive a full refund of monies paid, excluding the $500 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations 60–89 Days Before Retreat

 

If you cancel between 60–89 days prior to the retreat start date:

 

• 50% of the total retreat amount will be retained.

• Any additional payments beyond 50% may be refunded.


Cancellations 30–59 Days Before Retreat

 

If you cancel between 30–59 days prior to the retreat start date:

 

• 75% of the total retreat amount will be retained.

• Refunds will only apply to payments exceeding this amount.

Cancellations Within 30 Days of Retreat

If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat start date, or do not attend:

 

• The full retreat amount is non-refundable.

 

Transfer of Booking

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your place to another woman, subject to:

 

• Prior written approval from the retreat organisers

• Completion of the application process by the new participant

• Payment of any administrative fees

 

Transfers are not guaranteed and remain at the organiser's discretion.

 

Australian Consumer Law

This retreat is operated in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and related legislation.

 

Under Australian Consumer Law:

 

• Refunds are not required for a change of mind.

• Refunds may be required if services are not delivered with due care and skill or cannot be provided as agreed.

In the unlikely event that the retreat cannot be delivered as advertised due to the organiser's fault, participants will be offered an appropriate remedy consistent with ACL requirements.

Force Majeure

 

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemics, venue closure, civil unrest, or other force majeure events):

 

• The retreat may be rescheduled or converted to a credit for a future retreat.

• Refunds will not be issued for force majeure events beyond the organiser's control.

• We are not responsible for participant expenses such as flights, visas, or travel insurance.

Travel Insurance (Mandatory)

All participants must purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

 

• International travel

• Medical expenses

• Cancellation

• Retreat participation

• Emergency evacuation

 

Retreat organisers are not responsible for personal travel disruptions, illness, airline changes, or visa issues.

Acknowledgement

By booking this retreat, you acknowledge that:

 

• You have read and understood this Booking & Cancellation Policy.

• You agree to the outlined payment schedule and refund terms.

• You understand your responsibilities as an international traveller.

2. Cancellations, Refunds & Consumer Rights
Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the Retreat start date: refund of monies paid, less the deposit.
Cancellations within 30 days of the Retreat start date: no refunds will be provided, regardless of reason.
You may transfer your booking to another person with our prior written consent.
If the Facilitators are required to cancel or postpone the Retreat (e.g., due to illness, government restrictions, natural disasters, venue issues), you will be offered either:
A full refund of all monies paid, or
A transfer of your booking to a rescheduled retreat.
We are not responsible for any additional costs you incur (e.g., travel, flights, accommodation outside the retreat).

3. Health, Wellbeing & Participant Responsibility
You acknowledge that this Retreat includes activities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, women’s circles, sauna/ice bath, cacao ceremony, and other holistic practices. These may involve physical, emotional, and energetic processes.
Participation is voluntary. You are responsible for your own physical and emotional wellbeing and may choose not to participate in any activity.
You must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or mental health concerns to the Facilitators before attending.
This Retreat is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or other professional treatment. You agree to seek independent medical advice where appropriate.
By attending, you declare that you are medically, physically, and psychologically fit to participate.
4. Alcohol & Drugs
The Wise Women Retreat Bali is a strictly alcohol- and drug-free event.
The use of recreational drugs, alcohol, or any mind-altering substances is not permitted during the Retreat.
Anyone found under the influence may be asked to leave immediately, without refund.
5. Liability & Risk Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
You acknowledge that participation in the Retreat carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, emotional release, and environmental factors (such as use of sauna, pool, or ice bath).
You agree that you participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety at all times.
 
You release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Facilitators, property owners, staff, and contractors from all claims, demands, actions, or liabilities arising out of or connected with your participation, except where caused by our proven negligence.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
6. Venue & Accommodation
The Retreat will be held at Bumi Cinta Bali, Ubud. You agree to respect the property, facilities, and other participants.
Any damage caused by you through negligence or misconduct may be charged to you.
7. Confidentiality, Privacy & Respect
All personal sharing within Retreat activities is confidential. You agree to respect the privacy of all participants.
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Australian privacy law.
Disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful behaviour may result in you being asked to leave the Retreat without refund.
8. Photography & Media
At times, photographs or video may be taken for promotional purposes. Please advise us in writing if you do not consent to your image being used.
9. Governing Law
 
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW in relation to any dispute.

This Privacy Policy explains how Wise Women Retreats, facilitated by Dunja Vairaktaris and Meaghan Amor (“we”, “us”), collect, use, and protect your personal information. By booking or attending a Wise Women Retreat, you consent to the terms of this policy.
1. What Information We Collect
We may collect personal information such as:
Your name, date of birth, address, phone number, and email address.
Emergency contact details.
Health and medical information you choose to provide, including dietary requirements, allergies, injuries, or conditions relevant to your participation.
 
Payment and booking details.
Consent preferences (e.g., photography/media consent).
2. How We Collect Information
Directly from you when you complete an application form, booking form, or waiver.
From communications with you via email, phone, or social media.
We do not collect personal information from third parties without your consent.
3. Why We Collect Information
We collect personal information in order to:
Ensure your safety and wellbeing during the retreat.
Communicate with you about retreat details, payments, and updates.
Provide appropriate meals, activities, and support based on your needs.
Maintain records for administrative and legal purposes.
Promote future retreats (where you have consented to photography/media use).
4. How We Store and Protect Your Information
All personal information is stored securely, whether electronically or in paper form.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure.
Only authorised facilitators (Dunja and Meaghan) have access to your information.
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
We may share necessary information (e.g., allergies or health conditions) with trusted retreat staff or contractors only where relevant to your safety.
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect someone’s health and safety.
6. Access and Correction
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and request corrections if it is inaccurate or outdated. Please contact us in writing to make such a request.
7. Photography & Media
With your consent, photographs and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. You can opt out at any time by notifying us in writing or on your application form.
8. Retention of Information
Health and emergency information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for your participation and our legal obligations.
Payment records may be retained in accordance with Australian tax laws.
You may request deletion of your personal information once it is no longer required.
