Meaghan's Story
With a true desire to support women & their partners in the journey of Birth, I find myself sitting here writing my website as a Doula, my favourite work yet!
I was Doula ing before I knew the word. Attending friends Births & feeling like it was where I needed to be. I was maiden then stumbling through life just following my heart.
I have been working in the alternative health industry for over 20 years. I started my journey with massage, which over time lead me into complementary therapies.
During this period I found myself in awe of pregnancy & childbirth. What a miracle it is... 17 years ago I attended a 6-day intensive course called "Sensitive Midwifery" & from that moment forward I knew it was the space I wanted to be a part of.
Birth is a ceremony full of joy & celebration!
My commitment to you as your Doula is that at all times I will be there for you, the birthing woman & her partner for support. I will be the best Doula I can. I will inform you to the best of my ability on the stages of labour & what to expect so you & your birth companion can have a calm & easy delivery.
