Yesterday I got up and went for my usual walk around my local headland a run up the steep stairs and I decided finally today’s the day to start running again. It felt good in my body to run. I used to run a lot in my 40s and since landing after menopause, it’s something my body seems to be calling back in.

My beautiful friend from interstate called and we were chatting about everything as we do most days. She’s in a cold part of the world and I’m in the tropics so I think she feels like she has a holiday when she calls.
